Different perspective about thanksgiving

From Eurocentric perspective, the pilgrims thought that they had the right to take possession of the land of the Native Americans that were living and taking care of their land for many years ago. On the other hand, few Native Americans that still conserve their culture and traditions, they know what's the truth of the Thanksgiving history, also in their point of view they don't celebrate thanksgiving for the coming of the Europeans to this country, but they give thanks for their ancestors. In my opinion I think that the school is the primary source that is responsible to tell the true story about thanksgiving. The reason why teachers must teach their students about their true American story is because in the future the kids all grown up can tell to their children about this story too, and then it will be ingrained in all the Americans .
